I often provide interviews to psychology publications, lectures at institutions & libraries nationwide. I was part of a team of Salon owners to rewrite the Australian National Beauty School Training reforms in 1993. Then again by the Australian government to assist with the international training reforms 2007 to 2014.

My skill set started in family hairdressing and beauty salons as a helper in 1950. In 1961, I began my hairdressing apprenticeship. In 1963 my beauty therapy training added enjoyable skills to my beauty salon working life. In 1993 I studied clinical aromatherapy at Naturecare Colledge in Sydney. My family practiced hands-on healing then in 1987, I formalised my hands-on healing and became a reiki master.

Long before any formal training, I played with my family making steamed distilled oils for our home-made soaps, cleaning products, perfumes, and cosmetics. Using alluring aromas for smell therapy is by far my most passionate pastime. Now in my golden years, age 78 my aroma-blending passion still thrills me. Mainly from the relief and joy it provides to other folk. Their feedback delights me.

Karoleen Keys (my mother) and her Aunty Lottie were hands-on healers. They had a passion for gathering leaves, bark, fruit skins, flowers, and plant roots. They would either steam distil them, make tinctures, and enfleurage their gatherings.  They would turn these oils into perfumes for skincare products, tinctures, ointments, sniffs, cleaning products, and scents. For this reason, I named this range of pure natural perfumes after my mother. Mum has been my guiding light, and I often feel her and my great Aunty Lottie are guiding me when I research weather conditions in the country I am about to buy essential oils from. Unlike synthetic fragrances, the weather plays a vital role in the aroma molecules of essential oils. Have you heard the song "I'd like to teach the world to sing in perfect harmony" ? Well like you, I would love to do that.  I would also like to teach the world Hands-On Healing and the benefits of trusting in a power greater than yourself.   However, right now I am inviting you to come on my healing perfume journey. It's a tough journey because I cannot see, feel, nor touch you. My mind while I am creating natural perfumes is always with you, the end user, and our wonderful Earth. I beg you to read the contraindications inside the box before you try the perfume. I always give a trial size with every purchase. This helps both you and me. You use the trial size first. Should you not enjoy the aroma on your skin or have an allergic reaction, you can return the unopened perfume for a refund. Ladies, please do not try the perfume while you are menstruating.
